- Wool is anti-bacterial and self-cleaning, so it does not need to be washed often. Airing out is recommended and is often enough.
- When hand-washing wool, always use lukewarm water and add wool wash or baby shampoo. Do not let the garments soak for more than 10-15 minutes as felting can occur. Avoid using fabric softeners and fabric conditioners.
- When machine-washing wool, use a cold wool cycle. If in doubt, it is worth hand-washing.
Always flat-dry in the shade, as knits may stretch if hung.
